With This Remedy I Was Able To Remove All Fleas and Ticks From My Dog and My House

These wingless, creepy insects called fleas can give you sleepless nights! Fleas love to survive on warm vertebrates and hence their dog, rabbits, cats and indeed even you can be their host. One of the reasons for your overwhelming presence in your home is the fact that flea eggs can fall anywhere within your home. These eggs become larvae and finally into fleas.

What is irritating is that flea eggs can remain dormant for over a year and that is why sometimes when you have treated your house and felt like it is now flea free, these appear out of nowhere! And that is why you need to be on a regular watch and clean your house frequently once you have eliminated fleas. Here are some effective home remedies for fleas that not only can kill fleas, but can also control their recurrence.

How to Get Rid of Fleas, Ticks and Other Unwanted Insects

Cedar oil is an essential oil derived from coniferous trees (trees that carry cones and leaves of needles) of the families of pines or cypresses. Cedar oil has many uses, including medical and industrial uses, but it is also commonly used in perfumes, aromatherapy and in pest control. Turpentine is derived from the resins of living coniferous trees.

Cedar oil has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and is considered safe enough by the FDA (Food & Drug Admin) to be used as a food preservative. Ancient Egyptians even used it in their embalming practices because they kept insects away.

What does cedar oil do to insects?

Cedar oil controls different insects in different ways. It is known that it is toxic to fleas, ticks and mosquitoes specifically , which are common pests that we would love to get rid of. However, many of the annoying insects beyond ticks are rejected by the natural effluvium of cedar oil. Another advantage is the cedar oil is completely non-toxic to humans and pets.

How to use cedar oil spray as a natural tick repellent?

The easiest way to eliminate these insects is to spray each week, this cedar oil, in every corner of your home, yard or garden. This will completely eliminate all ticks, fleas, mosquitoes, and other unwanted insects.

Warning : As you are using fire at night when applying this home remedy to catch the fleas, you should be extra cautious. You may like to be awake until all the candles are extinguished. 3. Get rid of fleas while your pet sleeps

If your pet hates restrooms, try this “bright” idea. Next to where your dog or cat sleeps, place some Christmas lights, or a lamp without a screen, and under it a bowl of soapy water. (Make sure you lay far enough away from your pet so he or she can not hit you any more.)

The fleas will be attracted to the heat of light and jump towards it, most of the time landing directly in the bowl of soap and water. Repeat this treatment every night for a week, or until the fleas are gone.
